My name is Abby Frierson, and I will be editing the Student Developer for 2006-07.  Taylor Simpson, your previous editor, deserves a round of applause for her excellent work last year!!  I have some huge shoes to fill, and only through Taylor's coaching and God's inspiration will this be worth your valuble time! 

I'm sure you all have goals for the coming year:  getting through Algebra, reading 2,000 pages of English, reciting the Gettysburg Address flawlessly.  My THREE goals for the Student Developer are as follows:

ONE

                        Lots of student participation! Please, PLEASE send in samples of your work for the edification and encouragement of others!  This is for the glory of God and development of students, so please send in poems, essays, or other literary assignments!

TWO 

                        Lots of student participation! We'd like to highlight different clubs, classes, or even students and new families this year, so if asked, prayerfully consider an interview or overview of your club/class! 

THREE 

                        (Guess what?) Lots of student participation! I heartily welcome any suggestions, new ideas, or other things you think of for the Developer!

For those of you who don't know me, I am a 10th-grader from Fairfield, PA, who loves all things English (poetry, reading, and writing), soccer, and Golden Retrievers. I am very blessed with this opportunity to edit the Developer, and pray God will be glorified with my efforts and your contributions!!
