| Steadfast Savior

When a trial comes and the pain is strong
And you struggle each day long,
When you ask, “but why?”
And there is no reply.
When God seems so far away,
He is with you through each day.
Will you turn your back on the One who cares?
And who answers every little prayer?
Will you forget the One who showed His love for you,
And suffered through earthly trials too?
Or will you to your Savior cling,
And look to Him for everything?
And when this trail is done and past,
To your Savior will you still hold fast?
