For by GRACE are ye saved through FAITH; and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT of GOD: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
For we are HIS workmanship, created in CHRIST JESUS unto good works, which GOD hath before ordained that we should walk in them. – Ephesians 2:8-10

There are many people I would like to thank for their influence on my life; more than I can name in the space allotted to me. It is wonderful, the way all of God’s Saints work together.
There are some people who I would like to thank specifically:
Mom, I don’t know what I would have done without you and I’ve enjoyed the laughs we’ve had. I will always treasure those memories.
Dad, thanks especially for your encouragement.
Brothers, thank you for being around to make me smile and lifting my spirits when I’m feeling down.
Grandmom, Granddad, Pops, and Nana, thank you for your support. Thank you also for the special, fun day trips you have taken us on.
Lord Jesus, I owe you my biggest thanks. Thank you for your saving grace and sustaining power. There have been many times in the last couple of years where I’ve felt like all I could do is give up. Thank you for bringing my focus back to you.
Favorite Verse:
God has used many verses over the past couple of years to strengthen and encourage me. The one that seems to never grow old is Proverbs 3:5-6; “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.”
Future Plans:
As for my future plans, I don’t know exactly how I’m going to get there, but I would like to be active in a ministry and Creation Science.

Praise God From whom all blessings flow. He has blessed me in countless ways, and all that I have and am has come from his hand. Most importantly, as undeserving and sinful as I am, He has given me the greatest gift that could possibly be given -- salvation through the blood of his only son Jesus Christ, and He continues to teach me more about himself everyday.
I am also very grateful for the family He has given me. Mom and Dad: Thanks for being loving and devoted Godly examples and for patiently, yet firmly, guiding me through life’s difficulties. You have both taught me many valuable lessons, and I thank God for you.
Sarah: Thanks for being my friend and for always being loyal. Hannah: Never cease to keep the traditions alive! Thanks for all the fun times. Melody: You’re my pal, and I love spending time with you.
To my classmates, best wishes and God bless you all.

I have always believed in God because of my parents who love God very much and the experience of growing up in a great Christian home. When I was about four years old, I accepted Christ in my heart as my Savior. God was always first and always there for me, even though I had my ups and downs. I can say now that I love Him more and more each day because of what He has done for me.
To Mom and Dad: I love you all so much and I think that you all are the best parents in the world. I am thankful that you love God, that you love me and that you cared enough to homeschool me for the last 13 years. You have always been there for me and I know that will continue.
To Aletheia and Alison: God blessed me with two really great, fun sisters that I will always love. You keep life from getting too boring and I hope and pray that our great times will continue even after I graduate.
To My Church Family and Friends: It has been a great blessing to be a part of a church where I can continue in grow in Christ. Thank you Pastor Conrad, Pastor Brett, and Pastor Phil (my Dad). Thanks especially Greg, Manny, and Luke, who continue to encourage me.

The Bible has many great verses that I am encouraged by. Proverbs 3:5-7 is very special to me at this time in my life. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes: fear the Lord and depart from evil.”

I am not sure of my plans for the future right now, but I am trusting God to show me what He wants me to do. I am interested in possibly pursuing a career in music, physical fitness, counseling, or auto mechanics.

I have a couple people I want to thank - my mother and my father. When I dropped out of school 5 years ago, they told me that I would come to regret it. I did, I did! I decided the only way for me to go on with my life was to come back and finish. Thank you, Mom. Thank you, Dad. Also, thank you Mr. Gary for believing I could do it and giving me the chance.
Daniel Vincent Carr
Student Testimony:
It is hard to find parents who will give the time, money, and dedication to homeschooling their child. I appreciate that my parents were willing to serve me in this way. Their dedication encourages me in my walk with the Lord.
I never had a good attitude about school. I didn’t want to do it, maybe because I was lazy or maybe I was arrogant. Math - I hate it. When you don’t understand something like Math, you can get frustrated and cranky, and then take it out on the teacher, who for me, happened to be my mom. Recently, my mother got the impression that I felt I did not learn anything until I went to college in my junior year of high school. The truth is I learned everything from her: the foundation of my learning began in kindergarten. Thank you, Mom, for your dedication and patience with me.
I have not always had a good attitude toward WCFS. Basically, the problem was that they were in authority over me. But I have come to realize that they have a fire for the Lord. Unlike the world whose message is, get an education, get a good job, and earn lots of money; their message focuses on our relationship with the Lord and how academics relate to the Lord. I have come to appreciate that about WCFS.

I would like to thank and praise God for all the things that He has done, as I look back I can see His awesome hand in my life. Beginning with the parents He gave me. My dad can always make me feel good about myself, even in a painful situation. Every time I talk to my dad everything is so clear and understandable. My mom taught me how to have fun and with whom I have the best relationship. I think God broke the mold when He made my parents. God did not stop there, He gave me six great brothers and sisters whom I love dearly. One of the best things God did for my life was to place me in home schooling; I praise Him daily for that. My life is led by God; He has given me great friends, a job where I know He placed me, and most of all, I thank God for the chance to be His child. That is one of the greatest privileges that I can ever experience in this life.
Favorite Verse:
One Scripture verse that has really spoken to me is I Cor. 9:25, “Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.” That is how I view my life, a race in which I run to get a crown that will last.

Holiness, without it no one will see God. Hebrews 12:14 says, “Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.”
I gave my heart to Christ at the young age of six. For the past 12 years I’ve been trying, through God’s grace, to live as a holy living sacrifice. The problem is I keep crawling off the altar and compromising. I am blessed with two parents that are a good example of being Christ-like and were wise enough to homeschool me. Homeschooling is both a joy and a sacrifice for parents. I’m thankful to my parents for that. Through homeschooling, my parents have taught me many important things. Some of the many are: a love for scripture, the confidence to be who God created me to be, and how much we NEED God’s grace. Being the third child in a family with ten children, I’ve learned that we are all different. I’ve learned to see the beauty in our differences. I’m thankful that I am blessed to be in a BIG Christian homeschool family.
I know that I was born for such a time as this and our generation has a great call on it, and if we will take up our crosses and live uncompromised lives, we will fulfill that call. God has called us to live in uncompromising holiness and through His grace we can.

My testimony is simple. I would like to thank my parents for pushing me through school, because without them pushing, I probably would have quit a long time ago. I would especially like to thank them for keeping me going through my senior year. I started in Walkersville halfway through the year. I would also like to thank all my family and friends for helping me live this long and get me to the point that I’m at now, ready to graduate and get out on my own. I would like to thank God for blessing me with the family and friends I have, without them I would not be where I am. Thank you all.

Proverbs 8:35-36 “For whoever finds me finds life, and wins approval from the Lord. But those who miss me have injured themselves. All who hate me love death.”
Future Plans:
My future plans are simple: I plan on staying around home for a couple years and work to save up money. I want to get a car and hopefully save up enough money it do something as far as school goes. I’ve been looking into going to Evangelical Institute of Greenville for about a year now, but I want to have money to pay for it.

Student Testimony:
I have been home-schooled all my life. I didn’t like it very much, but as soon as I started high school all that changed. After my first day of high school I would not have gone to a different type of school even if you paid me. I think it was partially because my relationship with Jesus Christ started to become much stronger and deeper. I have Mr. Craig, Tony, Jeremy, Chris and all youth group at church to blame for that!
I would also like to thank WCFS for letting me graduate and move on to bigger and better things. Of course I can’t forget to thank my parents who pushed me on for better things and who were two of the best role models I can find. They always surrounded me with godly influences. Also, I can’t forget to thank my sisters for all the fun we’ve had.
Most of all I want to thank the Giver of Life and my Savior, Jesus Christ, who paid the price of sin so I didn’t have to. I want to thank Him for His love and patience with me as I grow in Him and as I stumble and fall.
Future Plans:
Right now I feel God is leading me towards furniture making. That is an interest I have had for years now and I want to make it my living. I see that just living isn’t enough unless I am chasing after Jesus with all my heart which is what I want my life to be all about.

Homeschooling has been a part of my life for the past 10 years. I’ve had my ups and downs with it but through the grace of God and the help of my parents I have finally made it! At first I was unhappy with my parents’ decision to homeschool me but after awhile I really began to appreciate their decision. I realize now that they were doing what they thought was best and homeschooling turned out to be the best thing for me. Thanks, Mom and Dad!
I also want to give thanks to God for His grace and mercy toward me. Without Him I know I am nothing. Ephesians 2:4-5 says, “But because of His great love for us, God who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions -- it is by grace you have been saved.”
God has blessed me tremendously throughout my life. He has led me into a personal relationship with Him, He has provided for all my needs, and He has loved me unconditionally. Thank You, Lord, for all You’ve done for me!

When we first started home schooling ten years ago, I remember praying over and over again that God would let me be home schooled the whole way through school. Here I am graduating. Thessalonians 5:16-17 reads, “Pray without ceasing and in everything give thanks.” It is so awesome seeing the outcome of the prayer that I have been praying for so long. I am so very thankful that God allowed me to be home schooled, and that he made my parents willing to teach me.
Thank you, Lord, so much for all the blessings you have graciously given to me and my family. I also thank you, Lord, for the joy you bring into my life.
Mom and Dad, thank you for your willingness to teach me for all these years, not just with school work and the things that had to be done but all the extra things as well. God has so richly blessed me with two outstanding parents.
Brian, I love when we get to be together. I always have so much fun with you; when we were little and we would wrestle in the living room, or when you would push me really high on the tire swing, now going to your house, going out on the boat, and fishing. I love it all! I am so glad God gave me you as a brother. Thank you for being my big buddy.
Des, thank you for being such a great roll model in my life. I love being with you every chance I get whether it is when we talk, while we get ready for the day, or whether it is when we are taking a ride in Suzie and belting out a song at the top of our lungs. God has given me a wonderful sister.
I love you all so much!! God bless!! Love, Sierra

I want to thank my parents for homeschooling me all these years. And for never giving up and packing me off to a public school no matter how much of a terror I was. Thanks Mom. I’m so glad I’ve been homeschooled. I’ve been given the opportunity to learn so much more than my public schooled peers and friends. I love the flexibility of homeschooling that has allowed me to become so deeply involved in the two ministries I greatly enjoy.
Most importantly, I want to thank my Heavenly Father for his faithfulness and steadfast love. He is so good to me! He has blessed me so much with my family, friends, ministries, job, and all “my” kids that I baby-sit. I’m also thankful that God has promised He has plans for my future. I may not be certain what I should do yet, but He knows. And believe me, that is such a relief! As long as God is along, I can’t wait to see what is next in my life.
Oh, and by the way - I’M GRADUATING!!!!!!

Praise God! These years have passed so quickly. This chapter of my life is ending and I am eager to see what God has in store for me in my future. There is no way that I could have made it to this point by myself. God has blessed me with my parents who have homeschooled me for seven years. I am also extremely grateful to all the people who have been there for me over the years.
Mom and Dad - Thank you so much for pushing me so hard, I would never have gotten to this point without you. Thank you for being a strong Christian example to me and for bringing me up in the faith. You have truly prepared me for the rest of my life and I am extremely grateful.
Brandon - Well it’s been fun there bud. I have so many great memories growing up with you. It has been a pleasure being your brother, and I am glad we have a strong relationship.
My friends - Thanks, Adam and Ryan, for being my best friends all these years. I’m gonna miss you guys! We have had a blast and I thank God that he has given me friends like you.

I have grown up in a home where Christ is the center and I realized that I needed Jesus Christ as my Savior. At a very young age I trusted in Him alone for my salvation. Student Testimony:
It is only by God’s grace that I have reached this point. I became a Christian at a young age, but have really just developed my relationship with Jesus Christ in the past years. I have been homeschooled all my life and am very thankful that my parents obeyed God’s calling to homeschool my sisters and I. By doing so I have been given the opportunity to set my sights only on God and not on the temptations that would have assaulted me had I been outside of my parents’ daily headship.
It is only by the grace of God that I have been able to graduate on time, because there were times of doubt on my part when the school load was almost unbearable, but my family, especially Rachel, was always there pulling me past the doubt and telling me to “press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:14). They showed me that God truly cares about me and my schooling and that He would help me through any trials that came my way (yes, even the Biology!). I want to thank God first and foremost for all of the love and grace he has bestowed upon me the past few years. I also want to thank my family and friends for their encouragement and much needed guidance.
Favorite Verse:
Philippians 3:7-14 “But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, now having a righteousness of my own that comes from God and is by faith. I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.”
Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
Future Plans:
I plan to stay at home and continue learning the ways of a household until the Lord provides me with a home of my own. The Lord has also put a love in my heart for the elderly and caring for others, so I am considering some options.

Student Testimony:
Wow! The past nineteen years of my life have been an amazing experience.
I don’t remember exactly when I gave my life to the Lord, but I know it was at an early age. Having grown up in a Christian home my whole life is more of a blessing than I can possibly know, and being home schooled from kindergarden to twelfth grade has saved me from many of the temptations, pressures, and evil that so many other kids face every day. I praise the Lord for giving my parents the wisdom to choose homeschooling.
I also praise the Lord for loving me enough to choose me as one of His children: “For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will.” (Ephesians 1:4-5) No matter how many times I have failed Him, my Savior has forgiven me, and showered His love and grace on me. HE IS SO FAITHFUL!!!
My parents, too, have been faithful in their love for me, and have not given up- no matter how many times I pushed them to the edge of their patience! It is only by the grace of God that we have “pressed on toward the goal” and finally reached this point.
There is one big lesson God has been teaching me this year: faith. I have had some major problems this past year (mostly health related), but God has been sooooo cool!!! Just when things would begin to seem hopeless, the Lord would just absolutely saturate my heart with an overwhelming amount of faith and trust! It has been so amazing watching Him work in my life this year that the illnesses seem a small price to pay! One verse that has been my major source of peace throughout this year has been John 9:3b “. . .but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life.”
Favorite Verse:
1 Corinthians 15:58, “Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” And 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love, and of self-discipline.”
Future Plans:
For now, I plan to just follow the Lord’s leading on a day-to-day basis. I will continue to stay at home and develop my homemaking skills. I also plan on taking flight lessons and getting my pilot’s license, and continuing to write books (hopefully I will get a few published someday!)

Wow! It’s here, my senior year. It’s hard to believe. I want to take this opportunity to thank the Lord for getting me here. He’s been so awsome, not only this year but all the years I’ve been homeschooled. I especially want to thank Him for allowing me to be homeschooled. I didn’t like it at first, but now I am so thankful that I was able to be homeschooled. I have seen so many benefits from it. Also, I want to thank my parents, who have been the greatest. Student Testimony:
My parents began home schooling me when I was in kindergarten, so I already had an advantage that other children miss out on. By being home schooled my whole life, I have been able to avoid the damage to the foundations of my character by the secular ways of this world that have taken over today’s schools. My mom and dad have taught me that a close relationship with God is the most important thing. They have stuck with their teaching even when I would stubbornly refuse to obey.
Thank you, mom and dad, for always being an encouragement when I was having a bad time of it. I would also like to thank my sister Kristina for always listening to me on my good and bad days and telling me the truth about myself even when it hurt. To my big brother, Adam, I would like to say thank you for teaching me self control and patience.
And finally, to my three little brothers, Seth, Isaac, and Christer: I thank you for forgiving me when I lost my patience with you. I feel blessed to have been able to grow up with you all. My family has stood by me in my ugliest times, and they have loved me in spite of it.
There was a time in my life when I fell away from my family and my God, and the result was a year of loneliness, tears and hate. But through all this, I have learned that no matter how bad I mess things up, God is always there to take me back into his arms and to cleanse and forgive me! Thank you God for your amazing grace and unfailing love!

My earliest memories are of the hand of God richly providing all of my needs according to his riches in Glory by Christ Jesus. I know that He has preordained a path that I should walk. It is my sincere prayer that I fulfill all that I was created to do and be. For God’s grace I am desirous.
I want to say what an honor it has been to be a part of Walkersville Christian Family Schools. I am very grateful to be graduating from such a wonderful homeschool organization. Being homeschooled is a major privilege, and I have enjoyed it thoroughly. I am very happy to graduate and go on to college. I want to thank my mother for constantly being there for me whenever I needed her. Thank you for never giving up on me even through all the times that were especially difficult. Thank you for your sense of humor and always making me laugh when I would have rather cried! Thank you for showing me the positive in the negative. Thank for being my #1 fan. I am forever grateful to you for all your help. You are definitely the model dedicated homeschool mom. I want to thank my sister, Destiny, for being such a good friend and confidant. My time spent with home schooling has been a vital part of my life thus far. I am truly thankful to God that my parents took the time to educate me this way. I am also thankful that I live in a place that permits people to be taught in this way. God has truly filled my cup to overflowing.
Since I was a child, I was taught God had a plan for every person. I sincerely believe God has called me to be in the ordained ministry. When I was about 15, I was at a youth service. During the closing prayer, I was asking God how I could best serve him. Suddenly, one thought filled my mind, "What about becoming a pastor?" During the next month, that was all I could think about. At that point, I decided to follow the call.

I have learned many things over the past four years. One of the hardest lessons for me was, “Don’t put off till tomorrow what you can do today.” My attitude was, “Don’t do today what can wait until tomorrow.”
There are so many people I want to thank - my parents, my pastors, my church family, my friends and their families, my grandmothers and my extended family. I am so grateful to God for you all.
Dad - thanks for everything you’ve done for me and all the wonderful memories. We have had a lot of fun. How can we forget the fishing trip where we ate donuts for breakfast, lunch, and dinner?
Mom - thank you for everything. I love you so much. Thank you for loving me. I am so thankful that God gave you to me and me to you. I love both of you so much.

I grew up as a Christian. As far back as I can remember I believed that Jesus was the Son of God and died for my sins. But it wasn’t until I was a teenager that my Christian walk began to be the center of my life. In recent years this walk has been marked by one lesson after another. This “refining fire” I encountered was fulfilling. The eternal hope I found through it is what drives me to live.
Thank you, mom and dad, for making the decision to work hard to teach me. I have been immensely happy being at home! Thank you, Sandy, for hanging with me and not acting like you were four years older. Thank you, Becky, for being my sister (no matter what state you lived in) and being interested in my life, even if you couldn’t remember what grade I was in each year. Student Testimony:
I have been home schooled in a Christian home all my life. I have been surrounded by Christ day and night. When I accepted Christ into my heart at around age five the decision was so natural and gradual that no special memory stands out. It was at age twelve, after major rebellion I laid my whole life at His feet. My life is now His. The talents and abilities He has given me are for his honor and glory.
I have been blessed with the best parents God ever made. Daddy: Thank you for your Godly wisdom and guidance, for calming me when I was afraid, for fixing things after I’ve broken them, for Sunday evenings together, and talking politics in the car.
Mommy: Thank you for listening to me, laughing with me, sharing secrets, for reading stories together late at night with a cup of tea, and forgiving so easily when I made the worst meal you ever had.
To my brothers: Caleb (Mr. Studious), Isaac (Mr. Creative), Seth (Mr. Energy), Elyon, (Mr. Birthday Buddy), Ezra (Mr. Expressive), and David (Mr. Miracle), I love you. Have patience- I’m still learning!
Favorite Verse:
Psalm 91:1-2 “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.”
Future plans:
God willing, I plan to finish courses to get a Certificate of Floral Design from the Community College of Baltimore County, and to take distance English courses through a Christian university. I hope to be a full time homemaker and do freelance writing and floral design.

Student Testimony:
I was raised in a christian home and accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior at age 5. I started home schooling in the 9th grade, and have been home schooled ever since. I thank God for protecting me and helping me all through my school years. I thank God for blessing me with abilities to do all the things I do for fun, such as, skateboarding, BMX riding, dirt bike riding, and many more things. I also thank Him for the knowledge to build a skate park in our barn and to build my own motor cross track. I am also thankful for the many good friends God has brought into my life.
Favorite verse:
Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” This verse reminds me that anything is possible through Christ.
Future plans:
I plan to become a motorcycle mechanic and would like to own a motorcycle shop.

Student Testimony:
I would like to share a lesson the Lord has taught me through the struggles and disappointments He has allowed in my life. A Bible character I admire is Joseph of the Old Testament. Even though he faced extremely difficult circumstances, such as being sold into slavery by his own brothers and unjustly thrown into prison, Joseph did not become bitter, but trusted God and excelled in everything he did. Just as God used Joseph’s circumstances for good, I believe He can also use the trials He has placed in my life. Thank you very much.

Student Testimony:
Shaloam, my name is Sarah Weisinger. God has been so merciful to me throughout my entire life and especially these last few weeks of school as I was crazily trying to finish things up.
Favorite Verse:
A scripture verse that has been encouraging to me is Psalm 42:11; “Why art thou cast down O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise Him, who is the health of my countenance and my God.” Whenever I feel depressed, I remember this verse and realize that I don’t need to worry about anything, because God will never let me down.
2004 Class Song
Take My Life and Let It Be
Take my life, and let it be consecrated, Lord, to Thee.
Take my moments and my days; let them flow in ceaseless praise.
Take my hands, and let them move at the impulse of Thy love.
Take my feet, and let them be swift and beautiful for Thee.
Take my voice, and let me sing always, only, for my King.
Take my lips, and let them be filled with messages from Thee.
Take my silver and my gold; not a mite would I withhold.
Take my intellect, and use every power as Thou shalt choose.
Take my will, and make it Thine; it shall be no longer mine.
Take my heart, it is Thine own; it shall be Thy royal throne.
Take my love, my Lord, I pour at Thy feet its treasure store.
Take myself, and I will be ever, only, all for Thee.
