Our World is Dying
By Samuel Elisha Summers

When Michael lied,
Terri died, and we all felt the unjust shame.
But when Terri died,
America died too,
in spirit, in body, and soul.
Thousands in protest,
In spirit or action,
Rallied their courage and looked unto God.
The human judges heeded not our cry,
But lodging a demon swept us aside.
Wounded but determined,
Bleeding but ready,
We all manned our posts,
But it happened again.
Frustrated and angry at the murder before us,
We cried out to our leaders to lend us their hand,
Some leaders responded, but all to no avail,
T’was illegal said the demons; you could end up in jail.
And God from His heavenly throne, thought it was best,
To let Terri’s poor soul at last have its rest.
America is falling, falling off a steep cliff, and we as Christians, Americans,
And the world as a whole, must look unto Jesus Christ, who died in our stead.
We must be loving, we must be kind, for our world dying, right in front of our eyes.
