Be obsequious to the righteous and not to the wicked, for they will lead you astray.
Clair Simpson
From the bonds of sin
God lovingly frees us
and in return
He simply asks
that we are obsequious.
Shannah Mignini
This month’s word:
Laniferous
“Bearing or producing wool”
1828 Dictionary, Noah Webster
Example: “ The lanifersous beasts grazed peacably on the mountain slope as their shepherd snored gently in the shade of a mighty oak.” Speaking of sheep, our family has sheep cutting grass in our backyard! We’ve had them for about three years, and recently got rid of five ewes(female sheep) and one ram, leaving us with nine lambs. Owning and caring for sheep has taught our family about our Good Shepherd, and how “we like sheep” so often “go astray!” As you think of a sentence including the word “laniferous”, ponder the sheep-and-Shepherd-like qualities of our Christian walk! Hope you’ve enjoyed this edition of the Student Developer! Thanks for the sentences and please send in an essay, poem, or story as God leads you, and prayerfully consider an interview if so asked! Thanks, and Happy Thanksgiving!
God Bless,
